Welcome to AIBoostCV! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AIBoostCV website and services (the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

AIBoostCV is a platform that uses third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services to help you tailor and optimize your resume based on job descriptions you provide. The Service includes content generation, template selection, and layout customization tools.

2. User Accounts

To access most features, including saving resumes and exceeding initial usage limits, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use of AI and User Responsibility

  • You acknowledge that our Service relies on third-party AI models (e.g., Google Gemini) to process the content you provide. By using the Service, you consent to have your resume and job description data processed by these AI systems.
  • The content generated by the AI is a suggestion. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy, appropriateness, and truthfulness of all content in your final resume before applying for any job.
  • AIBoostCV does not guarantee that the use of our Services will result in a job offer or employment. Our tool is designed to assist in, but not replace, a comprehensive job search strategy.

4. Fees, Payment, and Subscriptions

  • Free Tier: Guest users may generate a resume and download it once. Registered free users may generate up to 30 resumes per day and download one tailored resume per calendar month.
  • Premium Subscription: We offer a premium subscription for a fee of R100.00, valid for 30 days. This plan grants unlimited downloads and a daily generation limit of 30 resumes.
  • Payment: Payments are to be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) using the unique order ID we provide as the payment reference. Your account will be upgraded to Premium status within approximately 30 minutes after the payment reflects in our account.
  • No Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the service provided, all payments for premium subscriptions are final and non-refundable.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload (your "User Content"). You grant AIBoostCV a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

The AIBoostCV platform, including our templates, logos, and original content (excluding your User Content), is the exclusive property of AIBoostCV and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". CVBOOST MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL CVBOOST BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY INACCURACIES IN THE AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
